I am quite pleased with the idea of having Bhatkal Blog. We can discuss and address some serious issues concerning our community.
As it is with every community or group, there are some elements that are meant to just disrupt or deviate others from the good cause. Folks who are doing good things MUST keep doing them with good intentions without paying much heed to these.
Right focus and clear intention are ingredients for the success of any program.
Anjuman is indeed a boon for Muslims of Bhatkal,I suggest we should grow up as a community and let Anjuman be managed more professionally. Just on the behest of providing cheap or free education for bhatkallys, we are compromising on the quality of education. An institution needs funds to manage each and every activity. Let Anjuman charge competitive fees for its courses. Under privileged or poor students should approach various group / programmes for scholarship. I am sure many of the parents wont mind shelling out fair amount for quality education for their wards. If one is less fortunate, there should be others means to compensate. By forcing Anjuman to lower fees is not the solution. Cost and Quality go hand in hand. We have to strike a balance somewhere.
